Rear mounted breakaway rim for use on fan-shaped backboards. Official size 457mm (18") ring of 16mm (5/8") solid steel with 12 no-tie net holders. Flat steel braces bent and welded offer additional support on nearly half of the rim. Steel springs allow rim to breakaway/collapse while players hang or dunk, in which the rim will return to playing position. Powder coated to withstand outdoor use. Complete with nylon mesh and zinc plated hardware.
